I agree with the Gab-chak thing. Not to fund of Gabby, but that was just wrong.

Rome-and Greek Nationalism. I know I had to swallow alot of anachronisms in the series, but that was ridiculous. I never thought Rome should have been in the storylines. I liked archaic Greece with it's multitude of warlords and citystates and small kingdoms.

The insistence on inserting Xena into too many major historical events and myths. I didn't need Ulysses retold as a doomed romance. I didn't need Xena meeting Gaius Julius Caesar.

Eli becomes Jesus Lite. I kind of liked the street magician who had discovered a special gift that scared him. He was much more interesting than the smug pontificator that suddenly appeared.

Gabrielle suddenly forgets everything she ever learned from Xena in the teaser of "Forgiven". C'mon, Gabby should beat the shit out of that brat and let her chew on her own ear.

Twilight of the Gods and the all out war they declared on Xena.

The entire time of going 25 years into the future and the destruction of the Greek Gods really pissed me off. They strayed too far from the original premise.

I have to agree with you, Salem. I did like MWF. Now, there where a few things that made me groan and roll my eyes but on the whole I liked it.

i got tired of the fights. usually when i watch reruns of eps i fast forward through the fights. most tv fights are lame, i think.
