I never really understood what was with Xena's family. The show never really went in depth with the relationship with Lyceus, or why she hated her older brother that much.
Any feedback will be great. |

Well Fenix-my take on it is her younger brother-Lyceus- stood with her to fight against Corteze. Her mother as well as her older brother Toris and many of the other villagers thought retreating was the answer. So when Lyceus and many of the other young men of the village-died in battle-her mother and the rest of the village hated her. So she left to begin her warlord days. WXF
