Heh. I caught that line in the trailer for the show. I had a good chuckle at it.

Didn't catch the show. Was it any good?

I only saw one episode of this, so admittedly I'm not the world's expert on it, but Nar- I mean Kathryn didn't seem to me to have the "tough-girl" presence to pull off the part she was playing.

She may have gotten better.

I did like the way the series was shot, though. Very cinemagraphic.

i caught the crusader bit too, that cracked me up--a little sumthin for the Xenites...???

i'm not sure the series has gotten any better or not, but apparently i'm hooked. they've been dropping interesting little hints about the Lily character's back story & private life which i think they should follow up on. i think the show can get bogged down in smarminess, especially at the end. but i like the way they match up the flashback scenes with the music popular at the time.

WHAT WOULD XENA DO?

are you sitting on the soap?

scratch my nose, will ya...?

We are hooked, too. We like the show and Kathryn's performance. There was another line last night describing the victim - "...bag of bones". Of course that line reminded us of Alti.

I never remember to watch but I liked the concept when I did catch it that one time.
My entire extended family is apparantly hooked on the show as there was much discussion of it over Thanksgiving dinner this year. General consensus: Everyone was saying great stuff (but nobody likes her hair or ponytail or something...whatever Roll Eyes ) and urged me to check the series out. I just smirked and thought to myself, "Go, Najara!".

Yep, her hair needs to be styled another way. She let it down once in a while, but we still prefer her short hair in The Convert.

Kathryn is currently up for an award for Favorite New Dramatic Television Series on Cold Case which airs Sunday evenings on CBS.

Please stop by and cast a vote to support one of our Xena cast.

Kathryn Morris is listed as #3 Breakout star of 2003 by Entertainment Weekly magazine this (last?) week.
Cool.

Incidentally the cast of The O.C. got the #1 spot. Another former Xena baddie there: Melinda Clarke (Velasca).
Again, cool.

I don't know about the hair, but I LOVE how Naj- I mean Kathryn's character wears clothes that you normally wouldn't associate with a petite woman. Very against type.

I'm starting to get hooked on the show, as well. She's kinda a bad arse. Gimme an A! Gimme an R! etc. (shades of Meg)

Her hair reminds me of a "style mullet." Or maybe a rattail?

seems that we are not the only ones talking about her hair.

There's a good pic of what Arista described as the "style mullet" in the above link.

That WAS actually an interesting article.

Seems that my "tiny flippy bob" is no longer popular. I might have to speak with my hairdresser about Cold Cassin' my do, instead.
