Veal & I watched a midnite:30 showing off the Hobbit.
MUCH better then the 1st part!!!!
the 2 midnite shows were sold out .Ours was almost 1/2 full...
It was at an AMC which had BIG padded recliners to sit it..
Nice .. not your grampa's AMC....
i may actually go see the Hobbit pt 2 when off for the holiday. If'n i don't get snowed in.
All we have here is AMC- just major hollyweird stuff, nuthin foreign or indie, miss it one week & its on dvd the next. Mostly.
Christina Ricci as college chick who falls in love with mentally retarded guy. Hadn't seen this in a few years. Great satire.
Jim Belushi, Linda Hamilton. A what if kinda film. Hadn't seen it ages. Fun stuff.
Terrible Korean karate secret agent crap.
i wanna see "American Hustle"
2 xc wives are in it!
JenLawcrazed to Amy Adamscrazed: "It's yer turn to please mr xc. Just keep tellin yerself, 'There are worse smellin things, there are uglier things' even tho it ain't true."
I just saw Carrie w/Chloe Moretz as star & Julianne Morre as her mom.
Also there is a Blond Total Goddess playing Sue....WoW
I better snap her up before xc gets drool & other nasty Icky bodily fluids all over her....
you mean her?:
Yes She is the One..
Val & I watched the Oldboy redo with Josh Brolin Elizabeth Olsen..
It was ummmmm a bit dopey & felt incomplete somehow.......
i don't want to see that remake. the original Oldboy is awesome. Hollywood always screws up Japanese/Chinese/Korean film remakes.
Love this flick. Lotta blood & guts. MMMmmm i'd love to be sandwiched between Jessica Alba & Michelle Rodriguez.
"The Woman in White" (1948)
Eleanor Parker, Gig Young. Nice mystery flick with all round great acting.
"The Outing aka The Genie" (1982)
Stoopid teen horror flick that made little sense.
Watched "The Perks of Being A Wallflower" again.
Taped it off cable. Liked it better this time tho it seemed like the music didn't stand out like it did on the dvd rental. Maybe showtime edited the music down. But good movie anyhoo.
"Trouble with the Curve"
Amy Adams never looked more gorgeous *sigh*
Anyhoo, predictable & too feel-good for believability but still i liked it (Amy Adams *drooooool*). Clint still funny cranky old-guy & Justin Timberlake oughta give up music & keep his acting career.
And more Amy, please.
"The Brothers Bloom"
Rachel Weisz, Mark Ruffalo, Adrien Brody. Movie bout cons. i was conned into watching it. Not worth the time.
Jake Ga-whatever as a cop hunting for 2 missing kids & Hugh Jackman as one of the papas going all Clint Eastwood on a suspect. Good movie tho too darn long.
Matt Damon dystopian sc-fi flick. Liked this one tho it could have had more story & character development.
"Leave Her to Heaven" (1945)
Gene Tierney, Cornel Wilde, Vincent Price. Film noir in color. Jealous bride commits murder. Good flick except the courtroom scene is the absolute worst in movie history.
Amy Adamscrazed is preggers & her new sister-in-law comes to visit. Nice indie film, good story & acting.
"Last of the Dogmen" (1995)
Tom Berenger, Barbara Hershey. Modern western type flick. Always liked this movie.
James Caan, Robert Duvall. Man on moon astronaut film before it really happened. It was ok.
"Charlie Wilson's War"
Tom Hanks, Amy Adamscrazed, Julia Roberts. Afghans vs Russkies & Hanks is helping supplu rebels. It was ok.
Dustin Hoffman, Gene Hackman, Jon Cusack & Rachel Weiss. Jury case on gun industry. Always liked this movie.
"Regarding Henry" (1991)
Harrison Ford as rude lawyer who gets shot in the head, survives & has change of heart. Sappy but i liked it.
I have watched Desolation of Smaug 4x
now ..I Love it!
An AWESOME Dragon & Evangeline Lilly as an ELF !!!!!
I have died & gone to Nerd heaven !
i'll wait for the dvd. Hope it comes out soon.
