The Net (1995)

Hadn't seen this in ages. Hard to pic Sandra Bullock as a computer nerd. Even harder how she keeps escaping Illuminati-like group trying to kill her. Without hottie Sandra, it wouldn't be the escapist fun that it is.

I just finished watching Spencer Kristen Stewart's flick about Princess Diana...

I have Never liked the Royals.....
this made me realize just how glad I am to not be British.

I remember sayin how Lady Diana was WAY too good for the
inbred lookin P Chas..

History has proven me rite....
Diana woulda been a LOT happier with me or xc..Im sure..

i'd been very to-the-infinity happy with Princess Di.

i wanna see this flick cause i'm on a major Diana craze infatuation obsession but Kristen 'no emotion' Stewart seemed like the most wrong choice playing her.

I would say KStew is under rated....she got a bum rap form Twilight...

Which is more the grayness of a depressed lonely teen {Bella} than her inability to act.

The movie is a 2 day weekend with the royal family for Diana...
She is desperately unhappy & going a bit nutso from being
controlled & gaslit by the royal pigs.

SO her colorlessness is appropriate.

but then I really like KStew & enjoyed Twilight only because of her..
I watched em ALL with Val..of course...

now on to why I came to thid thread..

there are rumors about the cast for Fantastic 4...

Emily Blunt & her dogfaced loser lookin Hubby...*Yuck*

They are too old if
Johnny Storm is gonna be the hot headed teen he needs to be
to give the movie some...Fire.

These women are at the absolute limit to play his older sister.

All born 1990
MArgot Robbie
J Law
K Stewart
Emma Watson
Britt Robertson
Rachel Brosnahan

Unfortunately there has kinda been a dearth of talent since then.

Disney's MCU is F-in up Royally.

My fave Char as a kid was Spider-man T Holland is SOOoo Bad
I didnt watch the 1 with Mysterio ..a Cool SPidey villain.

If they go with Krasinski that will be my 2nd fave comic
down because of bad bad bad casting...

But I must admit I have no suggestions as to who..

Britt Robertson -great choice, almost tie with Margot
Rachel Brosnahan -naw, not a Sue

i would add to the list Chloë Grace Moretz, Grace Van Dien, Olivia Holt and Dakota Fanning,

Andrew Garfield was the worst Spidey IMO.

Zendaya is not only the worst choice for MJ, she couldn't act to save her life, which will make it hard sitting through the new Spiderman

i've seen one and 1/2 Twilight (stomaching stewart in one was bad enough), the Messengers, Snow White (the sequel with Emily & Jessica was much, much better) & the Runaways where
she ruined the role of energetic Joan Jett with her smug, emotionless, stone-face blahness. The movies she's been in that i like, i like despite her being cast & trying to avoid her screen time, which is always way too much.

Elizabeth Debicki from the Crown who plays Diana would've been a better choice as would Chloe. i'll probably see Spencer cause i'm a Diana-holic & hope the rest of the cast makes up for u-know-who.

Ok Fair enuff....Im repulsed by Sean Penn,Miles Teller & that ugly talentless douche Adam Driver.

I Give up on casting J Storm......there are no well known good teen male actors..

I hit 2007 with Roman Griffin Davis the boy from JoJo Rabbit...hes 15 rite now....

Maybe they should just cast a small overly confident fat kid for comic relief & have him just constantly screw up ..or gender swap him for Sue Storms non-identical twin who is minutes younger & over does everything to compensate..

ha, ha, Driver made for a weak villain in Star Wars.

Maybe they should go for older actors/actresses in the new FF. Experience may pay off. Maybe...

Adam Driver is awful in EVERYTHING..I say!

Im usually OK with aging up but a 25+ hotheaded Human Torch is a bit of a 'stretch' no..?

I Liked J Alba as Sue but the Really Fake eyes were off putting
Kate Mara was OK
Chris Evans was Very good as always....

Ioan Gruffudd just Owned Mr Fantastic looks & acting..

If they had made the FF decently in the late 80s with a great script, the perfect Reed & Sue would've been Dennis Quaid & Meg Ryan.

Just chiming in to say I don't mind Kristen Stewart. I never saw any of the Twilight movies, so I don't have them to mar my opinion of her. I quite liked her in Happiest Season which I watched this Christmas and quite enjoyed.

As for the Fantastic Four casting, I wouldn't mind too much with Emily Blunt and co. I'd guess they were leaning towards older casting to fill the void of Robert Downey Jr. But I would prefer a younger Johnny so we could have the old Spidey/Human Torch rivalry/friendship.

I haven't been the biggest fan of Tom's Spider-Man, purely because it hasn't really felt like Spidey, but after 'No Way Home' (which I loved!) I'm optimistic for the next batch of Spider-flicks. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed his Spider-Man, because I have, just the right feel hasn't quite been there for me.

As for Zendaya, I think she's fine, I just think it will be forever strange that they changed Mary Jane so much that she's essentially a completely different character??

the problem I have with this is Johnny & Sue Are Bro & Sis
40 YO Emily & even 20 YO Johnny is kind of a Big STretch...no?
If we lose that then a big part of the original Dynamic that
Stan Lee created with the Fantastic 4 is lost.

I havent watched any Spidey since Avengers..
Tom Holland is a poor casting choice & the writing for
Spider-man has him as a Whiny wimp..So Wrong just...wrong

I've not seen much of her but she seems like a totally forgettable 3rd rate talent cast Because shes not white.

A worse character with Zendumbya playing her! The original MJ was a thin, hot redhead model type. How low they've sunk with Zen-duh-ya!
