Veal & I watched a midnite:30 showing off the Hobbit.

MUCH better then the 1st part!!!!

the 2 midnite shows were sold out .Ours was almost 1/2 full...

It was at an AMC which had BIG padded recliners to sit it..

Nice .. not your grampa's AMC....

i may actually go see the Hobbit pt 2 when off for the holiday. If'n i don't get snowed in.

All we have here is AMC- just major hollyweird stuff, nuthin foreign or indie, miss it one week & its on dvd the next. Mostly.

I just saw Carrie w/Chloe Moretz as star & Julianne Morre as her mom.


Also there is a Blond Total Goddess playing Sue....WoW
I better snap her up before xc gets drool & other nasty Icky bodily fluids all over her....

Val & I watched the Oldboy redo with Josh Brolin Elizabeth Olsen..

It was ummmmm a bit dopey & felt incomplete somehow.......

Rather forgettable

i don't want to see that remake. the original Oldboy is awesome. Hollywood always screws up Japanese/Chinese/Korean film remakes.

Eleanor Parker, Gig Young. Nice mystery flick with all round great acting.

"The Outing aka The Genie" (1982)

Stoopid teen horror flick that made little sense.

Watched "The Perks of Being A Wallflower" again.

Taped it off cable. Liked it better this time tho it seemed like the music didn't stand out like it did on the dvd rental. Maybe showtime edited the music down. But good movie anyhoo.

Amy Adams never looked more gorgeous *sigh*

Anyhoo, predictable & too feel-good for believability but still i liked it (Amy Adams *drooooool*). Clint still funny cranky old-guy & Justin Timberlake oughta give up music & keep his acting career.

Jake Ga-whatever as a cop hunting for 2 missing kids & Hugh Jackman as one of the papas going all Clint Eastwood on a suspect. Good movie tho too darn long.

Gene Tierney, Cornel Wilde, Vincent Price. Film noir in color. Jealous bride commits murder. Good flick except the courtroom scene is the absolute worst in movie history.
