Well in all fairness we were over 30 mins early so We got the Bucket of popcorn & 2 Med{40oz.} drinks...Figuring we would need to keep ourselves occupied for a while...

At any of the second runs I can buy 2 tickets & get that much stuff for around the same price...

with the Added benefit of sitting in a mostly empty theatre..
I F-ing HATE Crowds...

Theyre always noisy often rude & people are pretty much assholes now-a-days.

I have taken to sneakin in stuff on the $2 cheapy nites at my old fave 2nd run place.
More because Im broke than any other reason...
They need to buy Digital projectors & business is WAY down.

Under Obama's Govt my disabilty hasnt come close to keeping up with inflation & I expect it to get worser not better.....

I have to give it to Bush I was moving up in the $$$ world the 8 years he was Prez...

I found a copy of the Jacket& watched it.

I dunno what to say..

It made me think but more in a WtF way than an wow thats profound way.

I did like Adrian Brody's acting in it..hes kind of a Hit & Miss actor to me.

I dont like Daniel Craig at all...Hes ugly & made a poor Bond...He was Excellent in this movie....To me it was his best acting..
& other than the Naked Keira those 2 together were the best part of the movie.
Im glad I watched it as I had heard of it before.

All in all it was a good movie but not a great one,to me.

I dont quite get what the point was...I guess its religious or spiritual... because it was wasted on my atheist brain..LOL

i liked "The Jacket" & that the ending could be interpreted different ways. i'm not sure what the point was. i kept waiting for Brody to clear himself of the cop killing but instead he saves Keira's mom which gives her a better life.

Speaking of Danny Craig, i watched "Casino Royale" last nite.

i think Craig is 2nd best Bond to Sean Connery. Not as wimpy as Roger Moore or those other guys.

What if I Agree @ Roger Moore{the worst}..but I think youre pretending to like DC to make sure you keep your reputation as xenacrazed who is CRAZY!!!!!!

I lked Pierce Brosan 2nd best. tho Im not a Bond fan probably have seen less than 1/2 of them.

i liked the first couple Mad Max films.

Watched "Coming Home" last nite

Jane Fonda, Bruce Dern, Jon Voigt. Vietnam, wounded vets, '60s music. Good movie hadn't seen in ages. Best part is when Dern goes psycho at the other two. Pyscho is fun, i is psycho.

"The List of Adrian Messenger" (1963)

George C Scott, Kirk Douglas. Good ol fashioned mystery flick the way they used to make them. One of my all-time fave older films.

Yeah Sandra Bullock can do sweet like no other...
I liked that movie too.
I remember it having a Classic/Vintagy feel to it when it came out.

Val,Justin & I watched Wolf of Wall St which is a Great movie its Hilarious...Deliberately.

This bothers me as it seems to condone more than condemn his behavior.

I admit as an ex-drinker I wish I coulda lived like that...

"The Legend of Billie Jean" (1985)

Sillie Jean ha ha but Helen Slater was a hottie. Taped this on cable, hadn't seen it in many moons. Forgot how dumb it was, kids so bored they would act like theys Billie Jean. Even in pre-net days ppl weren't that desperate for entertainment.

"The Wolf of Wall St"

This movie in need of some serious editing! 3 hr too long. They got the point across in tegh 1st 20 min & then it went on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on &on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on. i guess DiCrapio's character became good or reformed or whatever. They shoulda spent time on that instead of on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on that he was a scumbag jerk.

"Species" (1995)

Had seen parts of this but never whole film. It was ok but predictable. Didn't realize Michelle Williams was the girl at the beginning. She turned out hot.

My you have a short attention span..or is it bladder problems..?? LOL

I will admit I go out to see them so I LIKE long movies...

I saw American Hustle last night... its good but no where near as good as WofWSt .

Species was good, in its day.

BtW, I think Michelle Williams is Very Plain faced....I never saw what the big deal is about her. She's a decent actress at best,IMO.

i have huh? what'd ya say?

For me, the best movie time is between 90-100 min. i don't mind LOTR length movies when it calls for attention to detail from the book but "Wolf of Wall St" was too damn long & too repetitive. They coulda told the guy's story better & in less time had they not gone excessive on his excesses.

"American Hustle" much much much much better IMO, it told a complete story in less time & told it better w/o all the repetitiveness of DiCrapio's film. Plus Amy Adamscraed & J Lawcrazed = major droolfest.

Species was good, in its day.

i think she has a sultry look tho when she looks plain its for the role she's playing.

"District B13"

Hadn't seen this since it first came out. Kung fuey action in Paris. Simple story- save girl, defuse bomb. Lotta fight action. Wish they'd had more of the girl but it was ok.

"Eliminators" (1986)

Android (or mandroid), evil scientist, kung fu dude, wise-cracking river guide, R2D2-wannabe, plain jane doctor & time traveling apemen all in this extra-cheesy sci-fi adventure flick. It was so bad it was pretty good.
