Val & I saw this last nite...
Its running at the Art House movie chain...

It takes place in Vienna at the turn of the century... well not this turn of the century... Smile

Great cinematography...Very good acting...

It all has a dreamy, fantastical, quality to it..
No motorized anything not an electric light anywhere..

Seems so archaic in a way that it didnt when I was young...

The story is good if a bit derivative..

Val & I both liked it.

Caught this on dvd over the weekend. Excellent movie, great love story without going over the top. i was never a big fan of Edward Norton but he does a very good job here. I'd never seen Jessica Biel before so don't know much about her. Paul Giamatti as the Inspector may have the best part here.

Definately worth renting and i know i'll buy a copy once Blockbusters throws this in their used dvd section.
