Maybe Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt hooked up over their mutual ability to play crazy people.

12 Monkeys, and Girl Interrupted are two of my favorite films that feature crazy people.

I also liked the movie Nuts even though I'm not a Barbara Streisand fan.

What are some of yours?

Good thread, my dear!
I have to say you're not alone on Girl, Interrupted. I also liked John Travolta in Broken Arrow. Hmmmm...Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Carribian. At times he was a little of his rocker or at least he acted like it.

Most of mine are listed above. Adding...

Russell Crowe as John Nash in A Beautiful Mind

In the vein of crazy-making and crazy-acting though not technically certifiable may I throw in the cast of Being John Malkovich? Cool

and if damaged serial killer counts, then Charlize Theron as Aileen Wuornos in Monster

Straight up. Anyone see the short-lived Comedy Central series, "I'm With Busey?" Holy crap... the guy is a whacko.

Gary Busey can now be seen acting like a whacko on VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club."

Adding in Christopher Walken... in just about anything. He's just plain creepy and makes you think he's a whacko.

Oh! And Gary Oldman in "The Professional." There's another one for ya.

Gary Oldman in Leon is quite whacko as well...

I saw Gary Busey in a swedish show called "High Chapparal", where two guys travel around in the States meeting celebreties that are very popular in Sweden. Both old and new. Also Gary Busey. Good grief! He invited them on lunch, and they went to a cute little restaurant by the sea. Alot of weird discussions with the swedish guys, and a little bit later, Gary dicieded that a food-war was in order. Right out of the blue... Very odd man indeed... Smile But he was fun to listen to, to. Between the crazyness he said god stuff. Kinda lika Drusilla. Big Grin
