I was wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions on some good halloween flicks. I'm trying my best to do it up right this year. I love the kids movies too so anything that comes to mind will be appreciated.

Hocus Pocus!

I love it, great kids flick with an awesome cast. Even Gary and Penny Marshall make cameos.

I do have Hocus Pocus. Big Grin Big fan of that one. And thanks for the suggestions DM. There's a few in there I haven't even heard of so new ventures are always fun. I do want to get Psycho and What Ever Happened to Baby Jane. Scooby is always a good choice.

The old, old classics, not scary but spooky with lotsa atmosphere that newer films lack-

Dracula
Frankenstein
Frankentsein Meets the Wolf Man
Bride of Frankenstein
Son of Frankenstein
House of Frankenstein
House of Dracula
The Mummy
The Creature from the Black Lagoon
The Phantom of the Opera (Lon Chaney Sr, silent)

Hammer horror films (Christopehr Lee, Peter Cushing usually star in these), much atmosphere, big boobed babes in low cut gowns:

The Mummy
Taste the Blood of Dracula
Horror of Dracula
Dracula Has Risen from the Grave
Curse of Frankenstein
Capt Kronos, Vampire Killer
Kiss of the Vampire
Blood from the Mummy's Tomb

A few AI flicks, gothic Poe stuff, Vincent Price & his pals:

The Haunted Palace
Countess Dracula
Tower of London
Pit and the Pendulum
Horror Hotel
Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed
The Vampire Lovers
Fall of the House of Usher
Comedy of Terrors
The Raven

Newer classics, more blood:

Halloween
The Howling
An American Werewolf in London
Scream 1-3
Nightmare on Elm Street
Friday the 13th

The Italian slasher/horror flicks:

Inferno
Phenomena (w/Jen Connelly!)
Deep Red (film that inspired both "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th")
Tenebre
Suspiria (must see classic!)
Cemetary Man (hip cult masterpiece!)

The Japanese/Korean horror movie:

The Eye
A Tale of Two Sisters
Ringu series
The Phone (higly recommended)
The Tomie series

Other films that go bump in the nite; overlooked classics; grade-b cult films:

The Evil Dead series
At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul
Bubba Ho-tep
Carnival of Souls (the original)
Incubus (cult classic w/Wm Shatner!)
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Blair Witch Project
The Others
Black Sunday
Naked Witch
Crypt of Dark Secrets
Psyched by the 4D Witch (extreme cult)
Monster A-Go Go
Spider Baby
Nosferatu (the 1979 version)
Horror Rises from the Tomb
Incredibly Strange Creatures who Stopped Living & Became Crazy Mixed-up Zombies (cult alert!)
Fangs of the Living Dead
The She Beast
Possession (cult classic)
Equinox (inspiration for Evil Dead series)
Horror of Party Beach
Sleepy Hallow
The House of Dark Shadows (from the TV show)
Silver Bullet
Vampyres
Ginger Snaps
Blacula
Company of Wolves
The Exorcist
Night of the Living Dead (the original)
Shaun of the Living Dead
28 Days Later
