Thank god for Tivo. I was able to fast forward through all of the horror.
I am scared of Seattle.

I've come to the conclusion that the first few ep's are, well, I can't think of the owrd right now. Strange how they only showed us one or two of the several dozens they let through.

I loved the brother and sister. They were damn good and adorable to boot.

First half hour: There were actually a couple of okay-ish singers that either made it through or did not make it through but did not burn my ears and/or make me cringe like the other weeks when 98% of who they showed were awful joke auditions. Also there was a blues singer with intersting facial hair and a sort of famous one hit wonder blues singing lineage that everyone, especially Simon, fell all over themselves about and pretty much crowned as the winner. Oh and his name was Sunshine or something like that.
Come to think of it, Memphis was the city of interesting facial hair...

Re: Burnin Love...I think/hope that it was a handkerchief that he pulled out of his pants. No idea why. It disturbs me greatly.

i wasn't sure at first, but it did appear to be a handkerchief.. there is no explanation

i kind of liked the castro/jesus guy
the blues guy's name was sundance
and don't forget the black guy with the broken tooth singing elvis

i saw castro jesus from Arkansas. strange. but i loved his voice.

i really liked the back-up singer who sang Stevie Wonder...so cute.

she was cute

i forgot about the no no no guy.. such a touching song

ok...i had a dream about the creepy, gay Sinatra guy. he was in an elevator in a hotel with me (in the dream) only he had on a red tux (same hat but it was red too). we did speak and i woke up pretty shortly thereafter.

is it me or are they being meaner this season? not Simon, he's just Simon as always, but the show just seems to be showing a lot of emotional breakdowns. personally, i enjoy the bad singers, but the broken losers are becoming unwatchable.
