well a picnic is super yummy (if you like peanuts)

i've never liked jaffas, but they're an orange flavoured covering around a ball of choc, around the size of a malteser.

never had a marzipan bar myself.

i found this description, which i think does no justice.

Picnic is a chocolate bar similar in composition to a Snickers. It consists of milk chocolate, covering chewy nougat, caramel, biscuit and puffed rice. Unlike a Snickers, Picnic bars are lumpy in shape. A popular slogan for the Picnic, released in the early 2000s, was "Deliciously ugly". Picnic is manufactured by Cadburys.

The U.K version differs from the Australian version and contains raisins in addition to the surrounding peanuts around the bar.

It tastes similar to the American Baby Ruth bar.

and since you said you like peanuts in your candy.. PM me your addy, and i';ll mail you 1 ... (ok 2, cause thats just plain unfair, to eat one, and find you love it, and you have no more..lol)

not a pic of the actual choc, but at least its the wrapper.

and a better explanation of what its made of.

better description of jaffas

Orange / chocolate filled balls, with hard candy coating - very popular at the movies in Australia.

Marzipan is almond cream. You can buy it in the supermarket as a bar either dipped in chocolate or plan.

You can also buy Marzipan in some European delis, made into the shape of little fruits.

Yum. Smile

you can also find Marzipan pigs in some Italian delis....

your Smarties are obvious diferent from ours if they're like M&Ms. ours aren't chocolate at all, but sour little sugary discs...

Ame, ya gots a PM.

Hey thanks for them links & descriptions. i think i recognize some of them from my last visit to Jungle Jims (Jungle Jims of Cincinatti is a humongous, multi-national grocery store almost as big as city block). They have a twelve to fifteen shelves devoted to Aussie food. And the tim tams sell fast. That's why i gotta pack along a big ol cooler to haul them home in.
