Animator Takamoto, the creator of Scooby Doo and of many MANY characters including the Jetson's Astro, died today.

ArrrArrrArrooooooooooo! I send out a mournful howl as I pack my ScoobyDoo lunch box to head home. Really. My Dad gave it to me for Christmas and I bring my coffe and breakfast in it every day. I wonder if Takamoto sat down one day and really ever thought about the millions upon millins of smiles he's put on the faces of kids and adults alike alll over the world.
