I have the benefit of being friends with a Master Brewer so his Brenham Lager was and still is the best I've tasted. He closed his brewery and is now helping a couple New Orleans breweries get back on their feet.

Bass
Guiness
(preferably togerther)
Simpatico
Bodingtons
Steinlager
Milwaukee's Best Light, better know as The Beast, an all day brew Big Grin

I love Corona, too. Also Carlton Crown Premium Lager. Those are the two I have if I want to spoil myself.

I tried some good beer in New Zealand called Monteith's. They even brought out a special beer with spices in it, for summer.

The other day I had a beer called Beez Neez which is flavoured with honey. It was not too sweet and had a mellow, smooth flavour.

Beer makes me bloat in the tummy, so i normally steer clear but I do lurve it for its nice taste. I'm picky about my beer tho like I'm picky about my coffee.

Shiner Bock is nice. When Sara and I met in Philly we talked about this beer...she apparently can get it a lot(lucky her) but me, I gotta go to a beer distributor and get it "in season"...I forget where my Ex boyfriend used to go but he always got it in the spring. It was VERY nice and mild.

Yuengling lager is always a good standby. So is Guiness in the right mood.

But this summer I discovered Smythwick's. It's made from the same company as Guiness. LOVELY taste, with no serious bitter aftertaste. The bitter aftertastes get me down.Razz But I like the full bodied taste without the bitterness...Smythwicks ROCKS.Big Grin

Other beers I've loved:

Chocolate beer(yes, really, and I forget who made it but it wasn't sweet...it was made with unsweetened cocoa beans. VERY full bodied and wonderful.)

Pete's Wicked Ale

Coors Extra Gold(When all else fails, go to Coors.Big Grin)

"Even when you're down and blue, just remember that someone out there loves you, even if you don't know it and even if you haven't yet met them. There's someone out there waiting for you, remember that and keep faith. You'll get there."

I tried a chocolate beer at a brewery on the South Island of New Xenaland. It wasn't bad. They said they only brewed it there, so I can't buy it anywhere else. Frown
