i know, it's usually 'desert isle discs' but not this time. This time, what if- what if you were stranded on a deserted isle. On that island with you and the coconut trees is a cd player with batteries that never die. In that cd player is a disc with your favorite songs. Say, no more than 30 tunes. There's an abundant supply of coconuts and maybe some boxes of tim tams that have washed ashore. What songs would you chose to listen to for what could be- the rest of your life?!?!

i keep thinking of songs i needs to add but can't decide what to take off...might have to opt for "Silver Wings" in stead of "Mama Tried" and ditch the college fight song so i can add the absolutely necessary "Ripple" by the Grateful Dead.

i was gonna chose 30 really long songs, songs over 10 minutes long, but those songs tend to get monotonous after awhile. Maybe i should have picked 30 songs i only kinda like so that they would grow on me while stranded on the isle. Most of the songs on the list i made are earworm songs and i'd need them so i can scratch that earworm itch. Smile
