Okay you landlubbers. Fate is tired of hearing about how freakin' bored you are and how you wanna kill some people. Well, it's time to destroy the navy of your enemies.

"But Fate," you cry out. "I don't have a navy, because I foolishly didn't think about the fact that a Viking would join the game and that I might have to defend my coastline."

So go steal one. *g* Specifically go to:
Yahoo Games

And click on the Naval Command link.

But not alone...oh no. This is a two player game. All World Domination contestants will sign up here to compete against one another. In order to play you will have to be registered with Yahoo! (which is free, so don't worry).

You have a week to practice the game and figure out the mechanics. You will have to arrange a time to play with your opponent. You will play for two out of three games (unless both of you agree beforehand to different terms).
This will be a double elimination tournament. The losers of the first round will have the opportunity to battle eachother for a chance to stay in the game. You do not *have* to play in the tournament, but there will be points for those who do. Some match-ups (chosen randomly) will be elimination from the World Domination game. The winner of that match up will receive the appropriate percentage of the loser's points-the military assault percentage, not the assassination percentage.

So sign up here and I'll post the match ups by the end of the week. Play will commence next Monday (28 July). While I will try to respect the alliances that have been made among players, I make no guarantees.

So, are any of you lily-livered bastards ready to engage in actual combat?

As a viking I now perfectly well how to play this game.... I am registrered as Moonshade1977. smash

Unfortunatly, I will be on a journey, and won't be back untill Sunday evning at 10. (Swedish time). That would be 4 in the morning Scroll time..... So, as you see there is a 6 hour differens wich might make it diffucult for me to play this game, even though I would love to...

I know that we are in different time zones. That's why I said that those matched up would need to make arrangements. Play begins on 28 July. It may take a few days for the first round to be complete, but that's okay. You wanna take over the world, you have to learn patience.

The ranks are looking a little thin for a tournament. How 'bout some incentive? For every scroller (whether they are playing World Domination actively or not) who signs on to play and says they did so because a contestant asked them, the contestant named will get 50 points.

Hypothetical: Herculena plays and says she did so because Amethyst asked. Ame gets 50 points. Twin Xenas say they will play because Amethyst asked. Ame gets another 50 points.

Very close indeed. We were both down to the last little patrol boat that takes up two squares. Moonshade got to mine first though.

Oh well.

A good game.

250 points to the winners. 100 points to the defeated.

Lady Lazarus and Sara where are the results? You don't want Fate to get impatient and start taking away points.

As soon as the slackers play, the next round will be set up. Someone may die. *g*

Just my luck to get landed with pussy_Sara who is NEVER online.

I've been playing other players, though. Fun.

Dearest Fate how 'bout we say that if pussy_Sara doesn't contact me via email and set up a time to battle ASAP you give me someone else to vanquish, hmmm?

Fair enough, my Lady.

Sara get in touch with the Lady by Monday midnight (Fate's time) or consider the first round forfeit.

Contrary to popular belief, I have a professional and a personal life. I have other things to do than be a loser who's online all the time. So the Lady can shut the hell up.

Forgive my snarkiness, I witnessed something today that made my stomach turn and my heart shatter. One of my tenant's children asking me, in a frightened whisper, if her daddy was going to come back and hit her mommy some more and if my putting up window locks, changing door locks and nailing two by fours across the door was going to keep him out. And straightfaced, I had to promise this little girl that her daddy wasn't going to come back to hurt anyone, she was safe now. So if you don't like my attitude, you can f*ck off. And I sent your goddamn email, so relax.

Sara's tip for the day: People who physically and mentally abuse women, men, and children are sick sick bastards and one day when I take over the real world, I'm going to hunt every single one of them down and kill them myself. I promise.
