beauTifully tragicjagged edges
jagged edgesshe’s broken
but i love her
she was whole when i found her
but now the shards keep cutting me
i know i didn’t drop her
was the flaw there and i didn’t see?
i’ve tried all kinds of fixes
but none bring her back to me
she’s all i’ve ever wanted
why choose jagged edges over me?

Tam-your broken glass metaphor pefectly conveys the emotion you're going for here...

zoomi'm assuming these last couple of poems from you are autobiographical--if so, i know words don't help much, but i'm sorry & hang in there...

Gabber Tam,
Beautiful... simply beautiful. There's not much else I can say except that...and that like zoom, I'm sorry and all you can do is just hold on and love her through it. We aren't always broken, but we do break sometimes...and to be loved when broken can be the greatest gift to someone. I know when it's happened to me, it gave me hope and encouragement...and love for myself. Maybe your love will be able to do the same. Hang in there, and thank you for sharing with us.

ArgeauxTook me a while to get to this one, but I'm glad I did.
It is beautiful in its simplicity.
Touching.

KSenaIf I read poems, I prefer the simple ones. And this is so simple and soooo beautiful. If it is about you, Tam: Hang in there, will you. *hugs*
