The TrollSilvia's Love
Silvia’s Love
When I look at you
my eyes are covered with vines
One side grows in the soil of my passion
for this love I’ve never known,
One side grows in my fear
that someday you’ll be gone.
I follow you in the night
beside low trees
but they can’t cover my nakedness.
When you’re gone, I stand by the tide.
Which one will take me out to sea-?
to where my father lies
to where I’ll lay,
and no one can ever leave me.
I’ve conjured up my very fear
with words
emptied my self on the page.
But you never came back.
I’m porous now
almost aloft on pure light
It’s true that I die well
because I die.

Free MadnessThis is beautiful, Nanzar. I've never seen the movie Sylvia, but now you've got me curious!
It's bittersweet, so sad and yet so luxioriously beautiful.
When I look at you
my eyes are covered with vines
One side grows in the soil of my passion
for this love I’ve never known,
One side grows in my fear
that someday you’ll be gone. This is just phenomenal. Very well written. Thank you.

The TrollThank you WP9.
It's a beautiful movie. All poets should see it. I couldn't help writing this, the imagery just came over me.
