Caught between worlds
Nowhere to rest
One foot in my haven
One foot on the Quest

I cannot allow
The feeling of home
It can change like the wind
So fickle, it blows!

Within and without

A place to allow

The feelings of safety
Though change may be nigh
Help me find within
The real home inside

I struggle with feelings
So long kept at bay
By my optimism
And natural strength

Yet sadness must follow
As I walk away
From what kept me shelterred
From wind and from rain....

From this burning pain
For what I must leave behind
Never to see again

A Gypsy won't look back
No she's always safe
Her home is Within her
