They also have a second version of the GBA SP out in the US at the moment which is backlit rather than being lit from the sides of the screen. Supposedly that makes the images far brighter, crisper and easier to see.

And how do you like it?? I was curious to know how it played.

I've only been playing Fire Emblem on it.

It handles the RPG well, but I think it would feel squishy for action games.

The screen is VERY sharp.

The main benefit is its portability - easy to fit in your pocket. Definitely a good backup player, but I wouldn't choose it as my only GBA.
