This happens here every 3-4 years..

I have lived thru 20-25 of these around here in my life.....

Whats Differerent this time is this is Day 1 Friday..

Its expected to continue on & off until Monday..!

I have only expirienced maybe 5-6 of that type in my life..!

Worst was the 'Blizzard of '77' that was at least a week....

The amounts really vary alot I got 2&1/2 to 3 feet myself...

One comment before you look at the vid {which is not mine}

There was NO SNOW anywhere @ 28 hours before this was shot...

Yes..this all fell in 1 day!

My street is still not plowed even once...
A local business with alarge scoop earth-mover has run it
up& down the street making a single lane for traffic but its left
a 3 ft high, 5ft wide,9ft long clogg of nadtiness at the ebd of my driveway....

that car isnt going anywhere for awhile.. Nuh-uh...

All things cosidered Id rather have this then

Wildfires,Tornados or Hurricanes....

This is mostly a rather pretty nuisance......really

i'd take a moderate drought anyday!

So, where's our futuristic, retractable domes which'll protect us from bad weather?
