Picking up New Girl again after missing eps for 6 years, Mmm Zooey...

my bro mentioned he was watching Resident Alien ..he kinda thawt it was funny..

its on Syfy... I found 3 random eps & watched those.....

ok I watched the 1st 2 eps of Supergirl ..

s6ep1 was Way too touchy Feely as all the characters were
apologizing for thongs,umm things, I didnt see because they were
during the last season..I guess...

Its Comically too 'woke' for its own good.
I wonder if even 1 'Progressive' will see that their own
overblown hateful & dishonest emotionalism is what drives
sane people to the Republicans..?
Im expecting too much..Im pretty sure.



The show really is way too ensemble, most of the other characters
need a LOT less screen time...

I wanna see Supergirl Dammit !!

Ep2 finds Supergirl trapped in the Phantom Zone!!
but concentrates on the 'Superfriends' figuring out how to rescue her.
Im hopin that the next few episodes give Melissa B more involvement.


The show is pretty dopey.... but,its at least
as enjoyable STILL as anything Marvel has made 4 TV..IMO

Never seen a complete EP of Supergirl.

Seen a recent pic of her. What happened to her short skirt? She has super-legs, why all the body covering? Guess she's gone PC.

I hadda go back & look...Youre rite I didnt even notice..!

But upon reflection this change may have been made years ago.

What I did notice is she had eyebrow length bangs in the 1st ep
& upon being transported to the Phantom Zone they have grown out completely...say past chin length !!!

I presume this was seconds later..?!?!

Annoyingly both Brainiac & Lex Luthor have WAY more screen time than Supergirl in s6ep1

In ep2 she doesnt fare much better...

While I dont want Melissa to get burned out or over worked...
I gotta say most of the show looks like it was done in 1 take ...
then on to the next scene...
seems like they could devote more time to Supergirlherself.

I do not find any of the other characters except her sister* interesting...

I know I watched all of season 1 & 2 ...
Maybe 3..& some of 4..?

the show, sadly, has NOT gotten better...


Its more like a lame kidE cartoon.

I finished Falcon & the Weener Soldier
I did like ep 4... felt like it all might go somewhere..

But... no.....over all just boring & disappointing.

the Loud parts were too loud the quiet parts all mumbly..

I sorta liked Carly...but rarely could understand her mumbled dialog..wif that THICK accent.


the soundtrack dipshits NEED to take off their $300 headphones &
listen to their finished products on cheap TV with small speakers while munching on a snack.

maybe with some ambient noise in the background...

I must have adjusted the volume by a LOT at least 12-20x every FUCKING ep...

I think Marvel has jumped the shark....hope not...

i hated Carly. i wanted Cap's shield to slice off her freckles. There was nothing interesting about her which would make her people follow her into death.

She wasn't much of a villain. There wasn't a strong enough villain on the show.

They should've brought in an unexpected villain.
Like Doc Ock or the Mole Man or Emma Frost & Mastermind.

Ok ....this thing has no soul.It should be interesting & engaging ..
Its just not.
Its episodic with an over-arching sinister 'plan' to be
slowly{very slowly} explored thru-out the show.

There is no passion in the characters or the stories.
everyone is written un-charismatically &
they seem to have cast actors with this same trait.

I cant remember a single character I cared about or wanted to see more of.
Its like this show was written by sociopaths who have no sense of the humanity of others.

Its really sad I wanted to like this one.

The TV shows they probably consider as throw aways, time-filling teasers before the real, money-making product arrives. Why waste a lot of creativity on them?

Started watching the Mandelorian, the Disney Star Wars show. It's okay, nothing special.

Maybe in the fall i'll return to watching Xena. Or at least the first 4 seasons & any eps beyond that i can put up with, which isn't much.

Ok 3 more Supergirl eps watched....

Ok.... watched the 7th ep of Supergirl
last before the mid-season break....

They tried to do something complicated & it was an irritating failure.
It made me realize that they are {intentionally or not} writing this show for kids.

also Melissa had maybe 5 mins of screen time in a 40 minute show,again...Geeze

At least they cleared up that Phantom Zone mess'
They added Supergirl's dad to the show {Maybe}
so there will be more distracting nonsense in the future I assume..

Finished all 9 seasons of Doc Martin. Season 10, the final one, supposed to air in the fall.

Also in the last filmed ep of Bosch. Not sure when or if it will return.

Started watching the Crown until more Bosch eps are released. Crazy Brits and their sill rules.

First ep of Loki was good. Looks hopeful.

Bosch season 7 starts in a couple weeks.

I got to see this too...now...

I have never cared for the character Loki...

Not big on the whole anti-hero concept...

I suspect that its a large part of the reason that America turned so stupid & shitty starting in the 80s...continuing up to today.

back to the show it was ok...too much time on his historical recap{I understand its need} & not enuff....going on otherwise.....

It mite turn Loki into a good guy.....I could be likin that

Disney's Marvel shows tend to have a small goal in mind, which is why they don't get deep like Netflix's Marvel shows.

Loki is dead in the current Marvel movies, By the time the show ends, he'll be alive again, i'm betting. So that means the whole purpose of the show is to bring him back.
