An update on these 2 shows: I watched 1 1/2 eps of Cloak & Dagger. It was pretty lame, IMO, and filled with terrible pre-teen type pop music. The Cloak character was more realistic while Dagger was unlikable and cliched. If a better network than Freeform took control of the show, maybe it could be saved from being so predictable. Picnic At Hanging Rock wasn't much better. It had none of the appeal or mystique of the movie & book. It did flesh out the story line but not in good ways, IMO. Some of the actresses were terribly miscast. Just disappointed that Amazon would produce such lazy stuff. | |||

I found Picnic at Hanging Rock to be very patchy. Some parts were very good, others were awful. It was only ever meant to be a six part series, and it never solved the mystery. Which is a good thing. I just watched the last episode tonight, and it almost could have been a telemovie on its own. Easily the best episode, and a REALLY great way to round the series out. For me these were the series highlights: * The missing girls. The three of them had such excellent chemistry together, and everything they did felt as though it was happening in a dream. * The headmistress. We could never pin her down, as viewers. What was her past? What was she hiding from? * The young girl who Miranda took under wing. I think her name was Sarah. So immensely watchable. My heart went out to her constantly. * The French teacher. She had real growth throughout the story. It was almost as though the girls' disappearance caused her to examine her own life. The weakest episode for me was the second one, which focussed on the young men. It added little to the story, imo. ~~~~~~~~~~  | |||

I have started watching this: Impulse I looked on it because its Jumper related & I enjoyed that movie... Its teen angsty but it gets better. I have seen 4 eps so far. Its good not great. Why is it easier to fool the masses than it is to convince them that they have been fooled...? | |||

Old shows returning soon: Flash, Riverdale and i guess, the Blacklist. I didn't see anything listed in the new shows that looks interesting except maybe The Romanoffs on Amazon. iZombie won't be back until January. That's a bummer. i'm also watching What On Earth on the science channel. | |||

been Catching up on Fear the Walking Dead Im into s3 cant say Im enjoying it much... Gets interesting near the beginning of each season & at the end.....Lame, Very Lame mid-season...Always.. their not sending their best people let me tell you... Well, Im all caught up on Fear the Walking Dead Alot of Main Chars have ummm...exited the show,Very unlikely to ever return. Seems like the newer chars are interesting but that may just be because they are new. I also started to catch up on Supergirl which is a MUCH better show.... It does a yearly crossover with Flash,Arrow & Some Lame Group of Super-Whiners* Demonstrating how superior Supergirl is. Even her adorable sisters Love Problems are cute. * Probably not there actual Name..LoL Why is it easier to fool the masses than it is to convince them that they have been fooled...? | |||

I only watched part of the first season of Supergirl. It got so silly i had to stop watching. Flash sucks so bad anymore, all because of 1) his daughter from the future who is terrible & so is the actress who plays her and 2) they run the same theme through the entire season instead of self-contained eps like Xena or better written shows, like iZombie, which will come back in May for a final season yet they keep showing garbage like Riverdale where teenagers run the town- i mean, c'mon. i can barely put up with TV shows anymore. I like What On Earth on the science channel but there's too many reruns & too few new eps. | |||

Well I watched the last season of Game of Thrones because I was running into Deliberate Spoilers all over the place... The Corksoakers !!! It was 6 eps.. 1st 3 were the usual nasty goodness I have come to expect... Next day I watched the last 3...not a satisfactory conclusion for me. It was depressing & baffling as to why that end....Of course it was NEVER gonna have a Happy ending, was it? Why is it easier to fool the masses than it is to convince them that they have been fooled...? | |||

2 more eps of iZombie left. AT& freaking T pulled the CW from local tv. i hate streaming crap on a PC so i pay Amazon $2 per ep so i can see it on me TV Not much to watch after iZombie is gone | |||

Yay TV... I HAVE to Dl everything.... I Have a 3 story school maybe 125 yards away blocking SSE to SE..a water tower to the SW. I cant get local NBC station at all the local CBS moved their Broadcast tower ..Lost them now too. I can get ABC,PBS..& some oddballs... thats it... Im gonna miss CBS news.. ABC is reported so gaspingly breathlessly...Like they are on crack ..all freaked out & paranoid.. Why is it easier to fool the masses than it is to convince them that they have been fooled...? | |||

Hadda clean up my mess there ... I somehow was Quoting insteada editing LoL A mind is a terrible thing to lose...no? umm to the point.. Im STILL Watching Supergirl & Loving it.... 2 more eps to finish what just today became Last Season... This is great! if there is a season cliffhanger I should be able to catch it tomorrow...! I peeked in again at American Horror Story butI think this season is a no go for me... I only Liked the 'Coven' season & have only watched 2 season altogether. Well Season 4 of Supergirlfinished of quite nicely... but this 1st ep of S5 is Over the Top Corny... I hope its just a 1 off. Why is it easier to fool the masses than it is to convince them that they have been fooled...? | |||

xc shrieked into the void: Why is the Flash still on? I cant imagine....the show is oatmeal boring the actor is oatmeal boring. I have Never watched a single episode. the only time I see the twerp is when they do their season X-over shows. Those only prove to me that the only one worth watching AT ALL is Supergirl!!! but then...thats just me. Me too... I wasnt expecting that DC has some truly awful TV shows.. the actress has one of those 'nasty little primate faces' you just wanna punch..ya know..? but shes grown on me....Im not fond yet but Im no longer disgusted..LoL Why is it easier to fool the masses than it is to convince them that they have been fooled...? | |||
