Jennifer Lawrence could play either Xena or Gabby. Mary Elizabeth Winstead could also play either. That would be an awesome pair-up: 2 xc wives as X&G! | |||

Besides, if they make a movie, they have to start with the backstory cuz many ppl have not seen Xena. The first in the new Star Trek series started with the origin and it was excellent. No one wants to sit thru Crapert-like backstories cuz they can't think the story thru in advance (or too lazy to). i would rather have a Xena series in Starz or HBO that began with her origin and slowly worked its way thru evil Xena. A whole season of evil Xena! Then mid season 2 meet up with Gabby. But have NEW characters, new storylines, not rehash the same ol same ol. LL & RoC can have small roles as family members or amazons. Create a whole new Xenaverse that won't have to be compared to the old one. Maybe one that is less silliness (no Aphrodite as a valley girl or ridulous Joxer eps or no pregnant Xena/Eve garbage). And anudder thing... i loved the show for Xena the character not the actresses who played the parts. Hudson showed that someone other than LL could play Xena and play her well. X&G aren't academy award roles. LL & RoC are considered by many (not me) as definitive roles for those parts cuz they are the first- and in Gabby's case- the only ppl who've played the roles. They were both new young actresses at the time & probably would've been scoffed at were they up for the roles AFTER someone else had established themselves in those roles. So there! lol | |||

Sooooo youre not gonna let this go are ya..?? Im 57 havent gotta wrinkle on my face... I think/hope most TRUE Xena fans would WANT Lucy & Renee... Im sure shes a Young Helen Mirren But shes Not Gabrielle...IMO Sad to say the older I get the cuter/prettier the young one get..LOL I cant think of a woman whos looks improved with age... but THEY Are not that old.. The only woman I Can think of who's intimidating enuff is Rhona MitraShe can do Xena's tough side but I dunno how warm she can be..Lucy's Sweet/Optimistic/Happy side is as much a part of what made Xena great as the glower... This might end up as a Colder Xena than were used to.. Tho I will admit I dont know if Renee is up to the big screen herself...She no great talent... Maybe a Totally new sidekick thats not Gabby with an older Xena & some backfill with Reneee to explain her demise... Then your Strumpet might work..LOL | |||

Gabby helps balance Xena. Yin-yang stuffage. Its when Gabby became Xena Jr that the series sucked. There's no challenge or conflict when X&G are essentially the same type character.| Scroll Guardian |

Argh !!! It worked when I put it up but it might have got the pic from my brower's cache.. It was a Close up Pic of Megan Fox with bangs staring right into the camera.. I found it on a site with 242 PAGES of pix of her...I doubt I can find it again.. | |||

Well She would be a entirely different kind of Xena....Shes really slim & Botoxed into utter expressionless-ness-ess-ess-ssss! Lucy acted a LOT with her facial expressions....which I grew to love. Megan's face was glacially cool calm & beautiful in Transformers...she seem more like a fantasy of a girl than a real person. IMO. | |||

Megan would make a better Amazon i suppose. LL was 27 & RoC 24 when they started Xena. If they do a movie or tv series then whoever has their roles should be that age or younger IMO. LL is at about the same ago Darien Tackle was when she 1st played Cyrene. LL would make a great Cyrene. They never really fleshed out the character like they should have. i'd luv to see a new Xena series where season 1 is all early & evil Xena. LL would have a bigger role as Cyrene. Maybe Darien could play Xena's granny. | |||
