I went to Courtney Love's site to listen to "Mono" off the upcoming America's Sweetheart album. Don't know if I like it or not. Any opinions? Oddly enough, as messed up as Courtney is (was and always will be, lol) she can occasionally come out with some pretty kick ass rock.

Yeah, I dont really like it.
Maybe because I cant get over her image.
Maybe because I dont like incredibly raspy sounding women mixed with rock.

...also, is she referring to herself as america's sweetheart? thats~ bs.

Courtney's album titles are usually very tongue in cheek eg. Miss World. If she's calling her new album "America's Sweatheart", you can be your sweet bippy it isn't to be taken seriously.

I didn't like her Malibu days as much as her Live Through This era. Her latest album sounds like a welcome return to some grungier sounds.

She is the Yoko Ono of our generation.
