A cd that came with "Global Rhythm" magazine. Not just world music but modern sounds from round the globe- Brazilian hip hop, Latin funk, etc.

The country-bluegrass-folk sounds of Brennen Leigh and the French pop musings of Brigitte Fonatine and the desert surf vibes of the Urban Surf Kings. All of them are great!

Been groovin to the She & Him cd. She is xc wife, Zooey Deschanel, and Him is M.Ward. Zooey does the lead vocals, sounding much like Linda Ronstadt on many tracks. Zooey also wrote most of the songs.
Excellent cd!

The new Mudcrutch album is pertty dern good. This is Tom Petty's first band & they reunited for their first official album. It's more country rock than rock and Petty sounds really good.

i's especially lovin the Duffy album. No, no no, not that Hillary Clinton Duff, but Duffy, the blonde haired blue eyed soul goddess from the UK. More like Duffy Springfield, for thems of us who appreciated Dusty Springfield. Duffy sounds an awfulage look like Dusty. She gonna be a wife of xc, lemme tell ya.
