Tim Buckley

"Goodbye and Hello."

Folk singer from the 60's who was never much appreciated by fans altho his records got good reviews from the critics. He died at 28 of a drug overdose. But his voice is so haunting, so beautiful, and his songs are outstanding. I would love to do a tribute concert to him.

And his singer-songwriter son Jeff died much too early as well.

Oh I know, that was devastating. The guy drowned in a river...just that. No drugs or alcohol was found in him. That's one good thing, no substances, but that was too young to die...30, and he was an amazing talent. He only met his father Tim once in his life. Crazy. His mom was amazing. Yeah...Jeff was one of the people that made music GOOD again, in the 90's...imo anyway. 90's music rocks, and it just kept getting better since then and still is.

Here's a karaoke version I did of Jeff's song "Hallelujah." I've heard so many versions of this song but nothing beats Jeff Buckley's! The guitar music is stunning.
