I thought I'd start a thread for anyone who wanted to talk about World Idol.

I was so happy to see Kurt win. He seemed like a really nice guy, with a top voice.

It was good to see Kelly and Peter get some recognition as well.

It seemed to me that there were a few votes cast by some countries that were more about Nationalism than the competition. Oh well, I guess that's unavoidable.

I wish they had gotten Kurt to sing another song, just so we could here what else he can do.

Do you think he will release his album internationally now?

Man I laughed my tits off seeing Victoria Beckham mime. I thought Elton John's song was quite good.

Wonder if there will be another World Idol next year?

I only caught the World Idol results show because lila was visiting and wanted to watch it.

When they played clips of the singers' previous performances, I wasn't able to get a real grasp on exactly how the people actually sang. When Kurt won and started singing, I was floored. He sounded a lot like Bono.

Heh, we changed the channel when "Posh Spice" started singing.

Man that Posh Spice is talented.

She's even able to sing without moving her mouth.
