I'm going to start closing all the long topics, from now on.

We have forums for a reason. They already indicate what can be discussed.

For example, you don't need to start a topic in the Movies forum called "Good movies you've seen recently".

Starting a new topic for each new subject in a forum makes it easier for people to know if they want to join a conversation, or not.

To add to the example above, you could start a topic called "Halloween franchise" or, even better, "Halloween 2" in the Movies forum.
