Nora Rap I made up a new rap song this morning. It goes a little something like this: She can win at Scrabble (heeeeell yeah) She controls a rabble (heeeeell yeah) Is there anything Nora cannot do? She plays with fate (heeeeel yeah) She's Argy's mate (heeeeell yeah) Is there anything Nora cannot do? She can run a game (heeeeell yeah) She can out-slut Ame (heeeeell yeah) Is there anything Nora cannot do? She can skip a rock (heeeeell yeah) She can suck some cock (heeeeeell yeah) Is there anything Nora cannot do? She's six foot tall (heeeeell yeah) She can catch a ball-- Oops, that's something she cannot do. Feel free to add more verses, if you don't feel this is completed. She knows the law (heeeeell yeah) She knows the score (heeeeell yeah) Is there anything Nora cannot do? She'll drink ten beers (heeeeell yeah) And still say 'Cheers!' (heeeeell yeah) Is there anything Nora cannot do? Her teams all win (heeeeell yeah) To zoom's chagrin (heeeeell yeah) Is there anything Nora cannot do? She wees at night (heeeeell yeah) Without a light (heeeeell yeah) Is there anything Nora cannot do? She sleeps 'til ten She picks up men-- Oops, that's something she cannot do. ~~~~~~~~~~ I’m not so sure that the term refers to an amicable argument; in my experience argy-bargies are often not only heated discussions but also rather bad-tempered ones, amounting to a spat or minor quarrel. But then, the term is mainly a British or old Commonwealth one, not that well known in the US, and easily misunderstood out of context. | |||
