as i sit here to ponder a rhyme,
and risk committing some poetic crime,
i must stop to wonder
if it isn't a blunder
that this i how i enjoy spending time.

and what was our original plan?
we made fun, long and hard,
of Gabrielle, the Bashable Bard.
to do that again would be grand.

I see Gabrielle's hair just flop
Coz it looks like it's used as a mop

the way that i feel just ain't funny
my head hurts and my nose is all runny
all my ears do is ring

I haven't limmed in a long time
I think i have lost my abilty to rhyme
But not to Gabash
I'll give that a thrash
Let's dunk her in some slime

now limming isn't so very hard
nor is trashing one sidekick & bard
all that you have to do
is slather her with some goo
like motor oil, goat poo or lard.

okay, that last one was silly
about the bard who runs about like a crazed filly
she's always getting kidnapped
and getting she & X trapped
and day-dreaming of Predicus's willie.

okay, so it's that kind of morning
they come upon me without warning
when i have to stop a while
to write some rhymes in limerick style
that most credible poets would be scorning

Bad limming is really an art
So please, don't tear yourself apart
Your rhymes are terrific
They aren't as horrific
As telling a joke 'bout a fart

I just can't resist and so now I will start
A fabulous limerick about a wonderous art
Ripe and rich was its smell
The sound reverberated so all could tell
It was a once in a lifetime, the perfect fart

Maybe farts and rhymes can coexist!!
ok, that was sad... I will redeem

my exchange student friend who's named Neal
brought home tales to both appall & appeal:
an odd custom of the Norse
as a matter of course
they light their farts after their evening meal

based on a true story--names changed to rhyme...

Ame and I are goin' to Stace's house
I reckon it will be heaps grouse
But we'll have to beware
Coz we won't have Sar
To help us if we see a mouse
