I never really knew who painted "American Gothic" before. And I shall probably forget again--ask me tomorrow without his name being in front of me. *s*

Wood: Welcome to Sunnydale High. There's no running in the halls, no yelling, no gum chewing, apart from that, there's only one rule: if it moves, kill it.16 December 2003, 04:08 AM
Argeaux9/10.
Finally! A test on something I know a little about.
I got the Manet wrong. I shoulda known - Degas was known more for painting ballerinas.
I've seen a lot of those art works, too. I love seeing collections in Europe and the USA.
I'm starting to appreciate some home grown art a little more, too. Artists like Streeton, Olley and Drysdale.
Aboriginal art is taking me longer to get into, but I'm beginning to come around to some pieces. The NSW Gallery has a good collection.
Thanks for the test!
