Great googily moogily, I had no idea these were up.

I deny any and all accusations, assumptions, or general statements made about me and any sort of oral fixation. And I happen to like my camping hat, thank you. You know who you are that made that comment.

BUT, we did have lots of fun, it's nice to see those pics, even though I'm making a funny face in all of them, it's better than my usual scowl.

Good times ladies, we should do it again and soon.

I believe it was!

It was also the first beer of a looooong night, from recollection.

Just to fill people in:

We each brought Smirky an exotic beer, to celebrate passing the bar.

One was Scottish.

Another was an ENORMOUS can of Foster's.

One was Shiner Bock.

I can't remember any of the others.

Anyhoo, the first night was the first time all four of us had gotten together, although we've all been chating on the Scrolls for many years.

I missed seeing Sara at Pasadena, so I was VERY keen to finally catch up with her.

Smirky wasn't sure whether she'd be able to come camping, so I was over the moon about her being there.

zoom and I had been hanging out for a couple of weeks before the camp, and had gotten to know each other quite well.

Add beer, Jagermeister and Scrabble.

Needless to say, by about 1 am we were all rip-roaring drunk.

The noise level had risen with some feisty Scrabbling.

Next thing we knew the camp site next to us was shouting for us to keep the noise down.

Ain't no way that was going to happen, so we very soon scuttled off to bed.

I have a few more pics to post, of our escapades the next day, which included a disastrous kite flying session.

I may just go and grab those off my camera right now.
