I've played Dead Island for a couple of hours now and I like it.

If you would like to have your own copy, write a funny/interesting/entertaining haiku about zombies.

Here's one I prepared earlier:

I like to shoot things
Especially zombies in games
Their heads go splatter

For those who don't know, a haiku is a non-rhyming poem that has either 5 then 7 then 5 syllables, or 7 then 5 then 7 syllables. You can have a haiku that is more than one verse long, in which case you would make it 5-7-5 then 7-5-7 and so on.

The zombie haiku which I think is the cleverest will win this competition. Closing date is 16 September, which is next Friday.

Alrighty, the competition has closed.

The Prof. threw down the gauntlet with his fine work. Some very funny lines in there, including:

For now all I have to do
is work out movement...
... you, give me that motorbike!

Why do I want it...
I promise I won't eat you;
if you give me it.

I'm now the fastest zombie
in all of the world.
Armageddon just got COOL!

I actually thought he had the prize in the bag, even though Noots' cheeky entry was nothing to be sneezed at.

Then came Bo_Om, like a bat out of hell, with lines like:

Crunch chew smack shuffle
Zombies feast on helpless souls
Time for their dessert

Jaw has fallen off
I am numb and care for flesh
Another victim

However, at the end of the day, it was late-starter Inky who brought home the prize with funny lines such as:

Happiness is a warm gun
Revenge is finding
More undead parking wardens

Ash falls like grey snow

Eyes of undead wife
