It goes a little something like this:

1 POINT - participating in a Running Backwards event or competition without getting a place

(Only valid participation will be counted.
eg. for the recent zombie haiku contest this would not be accepted

2 POINTS - set up a Running Backwards event or competition (make sure you give people enough notice to join in and again, only valid events or competitions will be counted)

2 POINTS - being a runner up in a Running Backwards competition eg. 2nd, 3rd or any other place

3 POINTS - winning a Running Backwards event or competition (if the event is of a type that can be won)

The person who has the most points at midnight on 31 December 2011 will be awarded a game of their chosing.

POINT OF REFERENCE

You can only win one lot of points per competition or event. So, if you run a contest and also enter it, you only get 2 points for that.

Points will be deducted if shenanigans are detected.

Also, there MAY be special event weeks where participants can earn double points.
