What if I forgot to take my knee medication at lunch? What if therefore now my knee hurts? What if I just took it after I had my dinner, so hopefully it'll kick in and relieve the pain soon? What if especially since I have to work from 7-11 tonight? What if I have to discuss worker's comp with management tonight too? What if oh joy, they're gonna love me even more? what if all my thoughts for super brain powers are being transmitted northward to Dame Morgana McSmirkiness? what if i volunteer to help Swamp Beaver with her hard, hot task? what if for whatever reason, the intense roller derby heat was totally tolerable for me? what if it was either the large amounts of water i was consuming or the Jagermeister? what if perhaps it was the distraction of the hot sweaty roller babes? what if or perhaps the fact that i was smack in the midst of the 3 peeps i loves the most (not counting critters under the age of 16...)? what if in any case it was indeed damn fun fun fun? What if many thanks for the positive thoughts? What if the first day is down? What if I have no table mate? What if I have vague recollections of no tablemate at the last bar? What if that sound kind of pathetic? What if there are fellow Okies in the mix--even fellow "Sooners" but I didn't want to talk to 'em before the administration started? What if we weren't allowed to talk during the break? What if that seemed a little silly in light of the fact that the first portion of the exam was over so there wasn't anything we could do at that point to taint the test? What if it did spare me overhearing the endless post morteming? What if parking is $5 a day? What if there's a notice plainly stating that we have no "in and out" parking privilege? What if there doesn't seem to be any place to eat within walking distance? What if unless the ball park restaurants are open during the day? What if I'd brown bag it, but it's too damned hot to leave food in the car? What if there is an internet connection in my hotel room? What if it's a bit slow? What if so much for high speed? What if naptime was a much better way to spend my afternoon than studying? What if I guess, I'll have to study now? What if damn?  | |||
