what if overtime ends today? That means that i can finally get around to work at home that has piled up since early 2016 as well as going thru documents of Mama xc's that either need saved or trashed if they are no longer useful. i have not worked on the music room for so long that it needs it badly. Then there is the story i am working on as well. | |||

what if i have nuthin against Okra Wimpy but i do not want her for president? i mean, they just put in a billionaire game show host in the white house and he's messed everything up, so- lesson learned- don't elect a billionaire talk show host. i am sure she would be better than DumDum Trumpet but c'mon we can do better than celebrities rulin the land. What if I'm glad I have the gift of Gab altho sometimes I wish my mind would let me rest a bit? What if writing books and stories is good for me, but jeeeeezzzz, sometimes the circuses and unresolved issues just pour out like unwanted liquid from a mustard bottle? What if, you know when you're squirting mustard out and this clear water stuff comes out and soaks your friggin pretzel??? What if, I just wanna go, AAAAAHHHH????!!!! what if was snowed in yesterday? but today i got out and went to the record store (picked up a vinyl album by a local band, The Shackups) and the grocery store. Natalie Adele kept tryin to wake me up early this mornin when i was in dreamsville. i like sleepin cuz in dreams i can see mama xc again as well as not be depressed and unhappy as in real life. Nicer thing bout dreams is that they're free and the gov't and other bullies can't charge, tax or edit them. | |||

Ummm I just sorta got outta the habit of checkin in here.... Im not so alert...being this sick...sorry I have only left the house 2ce since Xmas for groceries... Im too sick to get a flu shot...... thus Im WAY too sick to get the flu.... I have never feared for my life....before...its truly weird! What if, I'm sorry you've been sick, Brucy, but glad the probiotics and such have been working well? What if I'm one of those tree-hugging herbalists lol and every time I hear the word "probiotic" I think of Super Blue Green Algae? What if I used to distribute that, and it's actually got a lot of qualities that have healed various illnesses, even helping an autistic kid talk after five years of therapy did zip? What if, it might be an option, Brucy, in fact I might try it again? What if, I congratulate you on your sobriety longevity?  What if it's been over 3 months for me, going on 4? What if, it's been going well? What if lack of "numbness" from alcohol stupors force me to look at some real stuff I'd avoided? What if, like agoraphobia? What if I've had that since the 90's but can't really figure out why even tho some unsavory things happened that "could" point to it? What if, there's so much to do, find a therapist, get a mammogram, go out walking every day, learn to drive, get a job, get a colonoscopy... What if my head be spinning??? what if good to see BrucE back & hope ya feel better soon? Flu is very bad this year & i'm lucky i haven't gotten it. i been workin & writing on the story. Not sure how the story will turn out as i been carrying it in me head since i was a teenaged terror. A nice lady has been encouraging me on it & she seems to have some sort of magic that has me writing seriously for the first time in many many many moons. i just don't feel like addin in all the 'what ifs' so that's my excuse and i'm stickin by it. | |||

What if hey, xc, glad to hear the story is going great? What if, I may need to start writing three or four different books at once the way things are going? What if, too many characters gettin' too loud in my head, and all want their stories told, no matter WHO the main character is? What if, all these damn people want front and center with their plots that are supposed to be subplots so I gotta write all new books with them as the stars? What if I say that cuz everything I ever heard about flu shots...they not only don't work, they make ya sicker??? what if Mama xc made a great apple pie, which is my favorite? Just one of a million things i miss about her. Doing more writing today & i incorporated Mama xc into the story in a way she would like. Tomorrow is the 5th year anniversary of when Mama xc & i went and rescued Natalie Adele from the animal shelter. Time goes slow for me so it seems like a lot longer than 5 years. We always considered Jan 24 as her birthday since we had no idea when she was born. She will either be 6 or 7 years old as we don't know that either since she was abandoned at the shelter. What if, glad to hear it's not the flu, altho that is a scare these days??? What if, I'm generally lucky in that respect altho I'm touchin' wood??? What if, I don't go 'round too many people either and fortunately Nick isn't an obsessive people person altho he used to like socializing a lot? What if, chalk it up to too many disappointing friendships that went south...these days one is better off finding one like-minded individual to hang with, romantic or otherwise? What if, I actually did get into the Super Bowl this time...I do have a soft spot for my city even if it's given me some grief from time to time, especially the "arts and music" scene? What if, it's still home, especially cheesesteaks, Fairmount Park, all the fond memories, including the Christmas light show now at Macy's? What if I never understood, not that I know geography well, hell there "could" be a city in England with the same name...but why did Elton John ever sing a song called "Philadelphia Freedom?" What if, did he spend time in Philly and fall in love with it at some point in his career??? What if, it's a great song though! Might've been a good one for the Eagles Parade, which I did stay home from...crowds scare me especially drunk ones?What if, I can't relate to the whole "hate the Patriots" thing either...why do that? We won! Shaddap and enjoy it at least we got a chance, and hell, the Patriots won 5 times, look at the positive!!! What if I lived to see the day when the Eagles won for the FIRST TIME EVER, at least after it was called the Super Bowl??? What if I'm a sucker for historic moments and if I ever were gonna have grandchildren(which I won't but still), it's always exciting to say, "I was there," when this or that happened? What if, Happy Valentoon's Day? What if, it's great to be with someone cool on this day, not my silly Ex whom I tried to reconcile with last year and the year before? What if, I spent too much money on Nick's gifts but it's worth it? What if Nick had to go take his dad somewhere this morning but he's comin' back and apparently he has a great card for me with a handwritten message that I'm a'gonna love??? What if, it won't be a proposal tho cuz we talked about marriage and...I did it already and neither of us think it's necessary. what if the tragedy shooting in Florida is largely forgotten soon? i recall a school shooting way back in the '90s and ppl were commenting about it on the scrolls. i recall writin that probably nothing will be done to stop more mass shootings & nearly 25 yrs later i am unfortunately still correct. They should ban those assault rifles altogether, regular citizens don't need them to protect themselves. Handguns for protection & rifles for hunters, okay, i see that, but not these ar-15 rifles for mass killings. But nothing will come of it, especially with the gun lobby controlling DumDum Trumpet & congress. Even when obombya was prez and Sandy Hook happened, that jerk didn't do anything. | |||

Hey XC how is ya? I agree to mostly all of what you say. probably 80% agree with yes to pistols & hunting rifles No to ar-15s & bazookas... But please Obama had a republican congress to deal with.... Lets NOT have any false equivalency talk when it comes to guns. Republicans & Far right ...want no rules at all. Liberals & democrats want sane gun laws to no guns... hey BrucE obombya had a full Democratic congress for his first two years. He was too full of himself and that awful obombyacare to care about gun control or taxing the rich. The 1% crusade, ha, he could have taxed the rich before the GOP took control but obombya wanted to keep getting richer so that was a lost cause. The House & Senate were split Dem/GOP for awhile before the GOP took over all Congress in 2014. i don't mind handguns for protection as long as there are strict laws for registration and making sure certain ppl don't own them. That nutcase in Florida should never have been allowed to even buy a squirt gun. Guns should also be re-registered every year just like a car. It'll never happen though. | |||

what if writing my story is taking up a lotta my time? well i'm up to nearly 100 pages written so far. i seem to be listening to music less & writing more. i miss my music, but i also have been workin overtime which cuts back on time devoted to anything. Now OT is ending so i can give music more time. i do listen to music at work on my headphones so that's good but i prefer it from my stereo & speakers. Still i'm glad the story is comin along & it has a long way to go. | |||
