Oh c'mon - even when the day finally comes that we're not needed for reproductive purposes anymore - we'll still be good to have around when there's heavy-lifting to do...

Although I've recently learned that SOME women have figured out how to take out the trash on their own. Out of necessity.

Jack, you will be pleased to hear that I had a lovely Jordana Brewster dream last night. Sometimes it was me she was flirting with and sometimes it was me as Amy, yeah figure that one out. lol Wink

Let me just say... Jordana Brewster leaning in while you're against a wall, doing her "look" thing (ya know, the looking down at your mouth real quick)... too perfect for words.

I want another Jordana dream. I'm surprised it took me a week to finally have one. I thought for sure I was gonna have one after the first time I saw DEBS.

Speaking of DEBS, Sara and I must watch it once more tomorrow before we have to turn it back into Blockbuster. And we must buy our own version. We like DEBS way too much. Big Grin

Happy to be of service, ma'am.

Although... recommending D.E.B.S. to lesbians is a little like preaching to the choir... lol. Still, glad I could help.

Thanks to Sony and their (I'm guessing scardy-cat) Marketing Department, word-of-mouth is the only way that movie will ever be known. Too bad.

BTW - the director has a blog on AfterEllen.com.

Failte, you may address me as "Chief Chesty Forelock of Upper Whateverstan".

If you're lucky I will let you view my divine junkyard sword and holy Ixion stone staff but never, NEVER, may you carry them.

Pay no attention to the eyezoom behind the mask. Her and BrucyBraless are opening up their own forum soon where typos may abound in peace. I think they're gonna call it the Retirement forum and locate it in Florida.

I don't come here as much any more because I don't turn on my internet very much these days. Not quite sure why. I still pay the bills for this place which hopefully counts for something.

Play nice and post and be damned. That's my advice, but it seems you are managing well without it.

Oh, uh, sorry... didn't mean to put my face right into your... um.. Upper Whateverstan, you say? I have a cousin there. She carves ersatz Gods and Ixion Stones out of the local limestone. I always liked to think she could be a Milk Maid because... well, never mind.

Of course I would never carry the stone and sword! Gah! Do I LOOK like I'd want a monthly curse?

I dub thee Scroll Mascot. You may now reside at my feet and purr contentedly.

Hey, I'm still around Sara. I just don't have as much to say, I guess.

I got banned recently from my gaming forum, so I might hang around a bit here for a while.

It seems that you can't say the word c- well, perhaps it's best I learn a lesson and don't use it while posting anywhere online.

I'll leave it up to your imagination. Wink

If I were to reside at your feet, Argeaux, I would INDEED purr contentedly...

Even if you were wearing socks.

Hey, I was banned from my a forum too! We have something in common - except for me, it wasn't dirty words, so much as dirty behavior - and too many underage girls around. Made the admin nervous, I think...

C-word? "coagulate"?

I remember getting my mouth washed out with actual soap in Kindergarten. I'd said "snot". Well... it was a long time ago.

So... for those of you who don't know - I live on an Army base (mostly civilians, though, like me) out in the middle of the Pacific. We get our movies a year late. Lately, they've been stocking a variety of Television DVD's, tho... They had "Queer as Folk" for awhile, then finally bundled 'em up and sold 'em off.

Now they have "The L Word".

So... is it worth it? Probably the wrong group to ask... put it this way: I don't do pure soap-opera, but I DO do drama. And I may actually have a chance to watch this, in a couple of weeks. Just wondering if I should - or should I stick with something I KNOW I like and rent all the Futurama's back-to-back. Smile

Soapish then is it? Yeah, 'nuff said.

I'm so pissed that the movie place here doesn't seem to care "But I'm a Cheerleader". Dammit.

Ohwell - at least they DO have a foreign section. Maybe "Imagine Me and You" will show up. That WAS foreign, wasn't it...

And no, due to our mail situation, I can't do net-flix either. And all homes are dial-up, so no YouTube. About all I can do to see off-the-beaten-path movies is to buy them.

And I just don't believe in watching movies more than once (with a handful of exceptions).

London? Which state is that in?

lol

Okay - I *think* that still counts as "foreign" - assuming it was an English production. Anyway, I got my eye out for it.

And there's a high-school gay-boy movie "Almost Normal" I wanna check out - see how the movie compares to all the friggin' high school yaoi fics I've read. Can't be worse. At least they don't appear to be emo-boys...

All this has to wait for the wife to fly back to the states, though. In her view, any interest in ANYTHING homo means *I* must be homo. Sigh.

And before you jump on her side - here's a quote from her: "How do lesbians decide which one is the man?" So... yeah. Getting the picture here?

Uh...

"In my view, any interest in anything homo means I must be homo"?

"In her view, any interest in anything straight means I must be straight"?

"In her view, no interest in anything homo means I must be homo"?

Not following ya, wickeT...

But then, if I'm being hypocritical - then I wouldn't see that, would I... (runs in circles chasing tail of self-analysis).

lol..apparently i do have to turn it around
(i was referring to your wife)

any interest in anything homo = homo
any interest in anything hetero = hetero
where does that leave a gay person in a straight world? do they not see the majority of movies, read the majority of books, have straight friends, etc?
by this theory they can't and still be gay
so i squish this theory and must allow you to see whatever movies, read whatever books you choose Wink
