In the auto audio- "Hit The Hay Vol. 7" a Swedish comp of Americana & power pop. On the home audio- "Old Enough 2 Know Better" a 3-cd comp of music on the Merge label. Spoon, East River Pipe, the Clientele, Ladybug Translator- that kinda alt-rock stuff. An el cheapo set, good way to explore acts i'd always heard of but never heard. Heavy rotation on the dvd player- Dark Shadows tv series. Love this corny cheesey stuff & am anxiously awaiting the new DS series this fall.

Okay, now that I am in my full POE mode, has anyone read House of Leaves by her brother Mark Daneilewski? I saw POE on her Borders tour. She was awesome, just her and a DJ singing songs off her Haunted CD while her brother read from the book. I was in tears a couple times. I hadn't thought about the book in a while, but was hoping someone had already read it. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Radio..."Ordinary Love" by Sade. It's been a while, but I still love that song. Your Hidden Talent You have the natural talent of rocking the boat, thwarting the system. And while this may not seem big, it can be. It's people like you who serve as the catalysts to major cultural changes. You're just a bit behind the scenes, so no one really notices. On the computer, right now actually, as we speak: The Unlovables - "Doot Da Doot" from Crush*Boyfriend*Heartache Loverly. Anyone who watches Adult Swim and has seen the "Anime Girls" promo, they're the ones who's song is playing in the background. It's pop punk but I love chicks who sing with punk riffs and nifty catchy lyrics.
