What if Happy Farking New Year Everybody!!!  What if I'm excited and hopeful for 2022? What if I want to make this a better year than the last two if I have to stand on my head to make that happen? What if I had a nice New Year's Eve last night and stayed up til 2AM? What if I slept until 9 today...7 hours at least? What if I can't sleep during the day and I always wake up early? What if I used to be such a night person? What if I even worked 3rd shift for a few years? What if those were the days but I grew into a day person and well, guess that's how it is! What if that's ok tho, I like daylight? What if something about brightness and not so much darkness does wonders for my state of mind? What if...on the subject of the 90's vs. the 70's and 60's, well I worshipped the 60's and really idealized that decade. I had a lot of older friends in my 20's and high school who were old hippies and would reminisce and make it all sound so romantic! What if every decade has it's ups and downs?  What if may this new century of Roaring Twenties be amazing in ways the others weren't...Despite covid? What if I hope covid blows away and becomes a distant memory? what if the 60s had innovations in culture (music, movies, civil rights) but also had war, assassinations & counter-demonstrations against progress? what if i don't see much good in the '20s because of social media, texting, moral & common sense divisions in the country & world? what if the best thing about the best decades in which i've lived (meaning not the 2010's & 2020's) in is that people communicated with people different from them to a greater extent. They didn't allow hate voices to influence them as much, there was no 24 hour news shows spreading fear, fewer cell phones replacing visiting friends & neighbors and less emphasis on no-talent people becoming celebrities off social media & so-called reality shows. what if America is at its most stupidest point (and not peaking yet) & not even covid will turn things around? | |||

What if um, the flat earth people...I think they all were taking too much medication, or the wrong kind! What if what do they think, all that stuff scientists found out about astronomy and planets was an illusion or a lie? Jeez, maybe they're paranoid delusional. What if my car was covered in ice witch did not wanna scrape off.. but it was sunny so I got it clear enuff to park on the street & it all melted off nice & clean...?
