What if Bureaus of Vital Statistics everywhere are stupid? What if my brother hasn't been able to get his birth certificate from the State of California for two months? What if he sent the request form to the address listed on the form? What if they sent it back to him saying he needed to send it to a different address? What if there isn't a logical reason as to why they'd spend the postage to send the form back to my brother in Phoenix, but not spend the same postage forwarding it to the correct address--which is apparently a secret anyway? What if stupid California? What if I, alas, cannot take the Monday after the big OSU-Texas game off? What if I have to be in court at 9 am that day? What if that sucks? What if Sara will learn to appreciate Jagermeister by the time zoom gets done with her? What if, oh yes she will? What if I wonder why no bet has been offered for this weekend's OSU-Texas A&M match up? What if it sounds like it will be a hell of a game? What if the two teams are very closely matched statistically speaking? What if it's OSU Homecoming weekend which will make the Pokes very motivated? What if switching gears from old school trash talk? What if everytime I go through courthouse security the guard operating the x-ray machine finds something new in my purse to confound them? What if the little keychain Swiss Army knife seemed to generate too much curiousity so I start trying to leave my main keyring in the office? What if I usually take the office set of keys which is on the boomerang keychain that Argy gave me last year? What if that also made the guard ask me "what's that?" though in a curious, non-hostile voice? What if today it was my mp3 player? What if I've been sending that thing through the X-ray machine for over six months with nary a comment, but today the guard was asking me why I had two phones? What if I really hope the county bar association is able to negotiate that attorney pass that lets us in without messing with security? What if while I'm happy to talk about my lovely Aussie friends, sometimes I'm trying to get somewhere quickly? What if I'm also tired of suspicious examination of my teeny swiss army knife? What if on the positive side I actually got through the metal detector today without setting it off? | |||
