What if the VERY BEST anti-virus software for your computer is F-R-E-E ??? What if its Malwarebytes Anti-malware...? What if Norton's is the Obama of the anti-virus world....Over rated & ineffective..? What if I KNOW xc is way too smart to be paying for/using Norton-shit..rite??? What if the flaw in Malwarebyes free software is that its not on actively you have to run it your-own-self..? What if it plays nice with just about ALL other anti-virus softwares..? What if I have Avira on alla the time {free version} & run Malwarebytes occasionally when it seems appropriate? What if I dont like anti-virus software suites because they take over my comp & then I cant use it to do what I want to do..? What if all I want is something to block driveby webpage viruses as I And Mwb can handle the rest.? | |||

what if HA! this proves my suspicion? what if BrucE is CEO of the antivirus co. he's definding? what if i KNEW he was rich? what if his antivirus company also owns movie theatres? what if who else in world can afford to spend $19.50 alone on pop & popcorn at movies 7 days a week plus cost of tickets? what if this means BrucE is trying to infect my PC so i buy into his "free" antivirus stuff? what if no wonder there's only me left here- he's wiped out all the other scrollers!  | |||

What if Thank you thats flattering, Im way to sick & foggy head to mastermind anything more complex or strenuous than trip to the baffroom. What if all I can say @ that freeware is " Try it..You'll Like it..." What if I have only encountered 1 Virus that it couldnt beat,at the time, & that was 1 that No one could prevent. It required a Special remover tool & a Special sequence to prep your comp to get rid of it. What if it was a drive by Virus that infected your computer buy just visiting a page... tho I think it loaded its self in a pop-up window thru a nasty javascript program. What if everyone eventually found a way to prevent it from loading & running,it was back more tyhan 5 years ago. What if it presented itself as a pop window to buy an "Anti-Virus" package that would remove it but was just a scam to get your CC# What if I heard/read that if you paid them they would just ransom your comp for more $$$$. What if the Bastards....!  | |||

What if I just had to post this one here..? What if its just too convu-looted to announce the purchase of Yet another laptop by Moi..in the Why is it that thread..?? What if it has Windows 8..? What if I thoroughly Hate the OS..? What if but thats Ok because I bought it to dual boot with LINUX..???? What if I thought @ replacing the lost power supply & buying a new Hard drive to put into the older laptop & realized I could just make the purchase of a new A8 quad core CPU HP for $400 + Tax and solve all the probs that way... What if I only need 2 Power supply/ 120V Chargers..cause Ill not have all 3 going at once.. What if they are ALL HP 2 use the EXACT same battery & all 3 use the same chargers.. SO I have an i3 from 2010 an A6 CPU from 2012 & a new A8 CPU from march 31st 2014..? What if I think they all use the same memory sticks too..? What if its good to be king..? | |||

What if the glasses are still holdin together & they still look ghastly,but thats not why I opened this thread..? What if the new Windows8 machine wouldnt allow me to change the Glaring white background to something that wouldnt hurt my eyes? What if after MUCH searching on the Inet to find ways to make this OS tolerable to use. What if ...It WILL NOT allow me to Remove it & Install Linux which is WHY I bought the F'ing thing in the first place. What if it will not allow a dual boot,placing linux on it as an alternate OS either. What if I can use a High Contrast view which allows me to change the colors Globally,but this Annihilates all pix& frills from web pages...Arrgh..!!!! What if Im sorry I bought this GD thing,,..?
